Erasmus University College Brussels (EhB)
Erasmus University College Brussels (EhB) is a Flemish higher education institution located in Brussels. It offers bachelor and master-programmes in 9 different fields of study which are attended by more than 5000 students. The language of instruction is Dutch, however English modules are available for incoming students. Research is one of EhB’s core tasks. Multidisciplinary, practice-oriented research is performed in centres of expertise. Brussels Integrated Care is a center of expertise for research in nursing and midwifery.
Their research is focused on finding answers to current, social and economic needs or opportunities from the professional field. Each research is conducted in collaboration with partners relevant professional field partners. Moreover, research outputs can be directly translated into concrete applications for the professional field. In addition to the cross-fertilization with the professional field, the interdependence of education and research is also an important point of attention.
